May 2011 Newsletter

Dear Unit Owners:

The Ocean Manor Condo Association would like to take this opportunity to inform all unit owners each month about the progress the Association has made for this year.

As many of the owners have noticed General Bronze has been installing the windows for the dissident unit owners that have sued the Association and the Board of Directors and have not paid for their windows or their window installation.

Due to health and safety issues and that Hurricane Season is quickly approaching the association has opted to pay for and install these dissident unit owner’s high impact windows. In other words, the association which is you, the paying unit owners that have paid for their windows in 2007, are now paying for the dissident unit owners windows.

In June 2011 the final payment by the association will be paid to General Bronze for a total of $275,000.00 for the final window installation. This does not include the hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees the lawsuit has cost the association, meaning the unit owners have paid for their windows and have also paid for this lawsuit which continues with the Plaintiff’s Fifth Amended Complaint.

The association has received approximately $47,123.04 due to the FPL audit which ended in May of 2011. U-Tel Auditors completed their audit and the association benefited greatly.

The board also settled with Katzman and Korr legal firm who represented the association in the dissident unit owner’s lawsuit for 18,000.00 saving approximately $9,000.00 on the final bill owed. Katzman and Korr original legal fees were approximately $42,000.00.

  1. What kind of balony is this. This post of a Newsletter doesn't say how The BORED let this window matter get such a mess. Then where's the money we saved. And what is this post by this Don McLoughlin about. Another lawsuit.

  3. Rick why did you let Frank take ove our comon area with his BBQ.Why are you letting Frank close down our comon area when he holds a wedding? Why do you let the valet take over the owners parking?Last weekend they were doubled parked in the owners spots.When are you going to man up,and do something for the unit owners? You are the CAM,and that is your job!

    How could you let Frank make porno movies on the penthouse balconly in the middle of the day?
    I had people renting that could see every thing by the pool.What a wonderfull place for a family vacation.
